Man City ace Phil Foden is reportedly set to be another high-profile exclusion from Thomas Tuchel's World Cup squad this summer.

Foden, 25, is widely regarded as one of England’s most technically gifted players, but has struggled for Man City over the past two seasons.

With just seven goals and five assists in his 32 Premier League games in 2025-26, Foden is now expected to miss out on a place in Tuchel’s England squad, according to BBC Sport's Sami Mokbel.

The Man City playmaker is another high-profile star not to make the squad following the exclusion of Harry Maguire - and other England players like Luke Shaw, Fikayo Tomori and Dan Burn are said to be uncertain over their inclusion in the squad.

It’s understood that Arsenal winger Noni Madueke is expected to get the nod and will feature in his first major international tournament.
