23:00 CET - Spain have beaten France 2-0 to reach the World Cup final for just the second time!
In the end, it’s been a remarkably comfortable win for Luis de la Fuente’s side, with Didier Deschamps troops just not showing up in Dallas. Spain were superb, scoring in each half and commanding possession, while France barely got going with no big chances of note all night.
Les Bleus go out with a whimper, while La Roja look to add a second World Cup star to their jerseys on Sunday against either Argentina or England!

22:45 CET - There are fewer than 10 minutes of regular time to go now. France are trailing 2-0 and have made all their changes. No more dice rolls left for Deschamps; they simply must score twice, or Spain are going to just their second ever World Cup final!
22:32 CET - We have reached the second hydration break, and France are in real trouble here, trailing Spain 2-0 with just a little over 20 minutes to go. Les Bleus need a goal quickly, and then another!
22:23 CET - And Spain have almost added a third with Lamine Yamal having a strike ruled out for offside... La Roja are all over the French in Texas.
22:20 CET - GOAL! Spain have doubled their lead over France through Pedro Porro!
And it's a lovely goal with Porro playing a one-two with Dani Olmo, who plays the full-back into the box in acres of space. He finishes superbly for just his second international goal.
2-0 Spain and it's starting to look like a long way back for France now, who just have not shown up tonight.
22:18 CET - And we already have a third change for France, with Desire Doue coming on for Bradley Barcola in a straight swap of PSG wingers. Dan Doue provide the spark that Les Bleus need to get back in this?

21:51 CET - That is half-time at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, and Spain lead France 1-0 thanks to Mikel Oyarzabal's well-taken penalty just before the hydration break.
The French have not quite clicked into gear and have yet to trouble Unai Simon in the Roja goal. What’s more, they have lost William Saliba to injury already.
So, plenty to do for Les Bleus if they want to make another World Cup final, and a fascinating second half coming up!
21:30 CET - Shortly after conceding, there is another huge blow for France here as Didier Deschamps is forced into making a change. Key defender William Saliba is not able to carry on due to an injury, and he is replaced by Maxence Lacroix. Nightmare opening 30 minutes for the French this.
21:22 CET - GOAL! Spain take the lead as Mikel Oyarzabal scores from the spot!
We have our first goal of the night with Oyarzabal slotting from the spot confidently. The penalty had been awarded after Lucas Digne caught Lamine Yamal while trying to clear the ball from the area. It was quite unlucky for the French defender, but it had to be given, really: 1-0 Spain.

19:44 CET - The starting lineups are in from Texas ahead of tonight's heavyweight semi-final between France and Spain!
Les Bleus have made two changes from their quarter-final victory over Morocco, with Aurelien Tchouameni and Bradley Barcola coming in for Manu Kone and Desire Doue.
As for Luis de la Fuente's side, they are unchanged from beating Belgium in the last eight, as Fabian Ruiz retains his place in midfield, meaning Pedri is on the bench for the second successive game.

14:25 CET - Les Bleus and La Roja are very much familiar foes, having faced off twice in the last two years.
Spain prevailed on both occasions, winning a cagey Euro 2024 semi-final 2-1 before prevailing in a nine-goal Nations League epic last year.
France did win two of the three matches prior to those ones though, and also triumphed the last time they faced off at a World Cup, with Zinedine Zidane - their next manager - leading them to glory in a clash of generations 20 years ago.

We're just hours away from what many are dubbing the final before the final, with arguably the two most impressive teams of the tournament doing battle in Texas.
