18:54 BST - Alejandro Davidovich Fokina has beaten Marton Fucsovics in straight sets, 7-6 (3), 6-2, 6-3, while on the women's side Karolina Muchova sent Mananchaya Sawangkaew tumbling out 6-2, 7-6(1).

18:53 BST - Aryna Sabalenka is through to the next round with a comfortable win over Jelena Ostapenko. The world number one prevailed 6-4, 6-4.

17:28 BST - Daniil Medvedev is sent crashing out of Wimbledon, falling to a 7-6(4), 7-6(5), 7-5 defeat to Jan-Lennard Struff in the third round.

Germany's Struff found himself down in every set, but found a way to rebound and knock out the former US Open winner.

17:11 BST - Aryna Sabalenka is looking to keep her progression for a maiden Wimbledon title going on Centre Court shortly when she faces volatile Latvian Jelena Ostapenko.

At the same time, seventh seed Coco Gauff will take on American compatriot Claire Liu, who is the world number 146, for a potential last-16 match against Belinda Bencic.

16:58 BST - And at nearly the same time, Jannik Sinner is rolling on with his title defence, dispatching Jenson Brooksby 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 in straightforward fashion.

Routine from the Italian top seed.

16:55 BST - Novak Djokovic has battled into the last 16 and he was made to work for it by Arthur Rinderknech as he wins 7-5, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6(4) on Centre Court.

He dropped the third set pretty poorly, but recovered well to win the fourth-set tie-break and notch his 105th victory at Wimbledon.

14:41 BST - Jessica Pegula is continuing her strong grass form with a commanding 6-1, 6-3 win over Jessica Bouzas Maneiro to move into the last 16.

14:33 BST - Defending champion Jannik Sinner is next up on Court One, facing off against American Jenson Brooksby.

Sinner opened with a scary five-set win over Miomir Kecmanovic, but had an easier ride as he dispatched Nuno Borges in straight sets last time out.

14:15 BST - Naomi Osaka makes light work of Daria Kasatkina, winning 6-1, 6-3 in just over an hour to reach the fourth round for the first time.

That sets up a potentially mega clash against Aryna Sabalenka if the world number one beats Jelena Ostapenko later today.

14:04 BST - Last year's semi-finalist Belinda Bencic comes through a tough battle 6-4, 4-6, 7-5(6) against Anna Kalinskaya.

It lasted just under three hours on Court Two and the Swiss 11th seed has her place in the second week.

13:29 BST - Novak Djokovic will be on Centre Court shortly to take on big-serving Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech.

Djokovic is continuing his chase for a record 25th Grand Slam title, but he could match another record if he gets through today.

Victory would notch him his 105th Wimbledon win, which would move him level with Roger Federer's men's singles record.

13:25 BST - We start off with a bit of a surprise as Brazil's 24th seed Joao Fonseca crashes out of Wimbledon with a 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 defeat to 132nd-ranked Roman Safiullin.

What a great performance from the Russian, who recorded 41 winners to just 18 unforced errors, and a potential fourth-round match against Novak Djokovic awaits.

11:07 BST - It's go time for the third round of Wimbledon.

The Centre Court action begins at 13:30 BST with Novak Djokovic facing Arthur Rinderknech, while Court One's play starts at 13:00 BST as Naomi Osaka plays Daria Kasatkina.

09:00 BST - Good morning and welcome to the third round of Wimbledon 2026!

Some big names are in action today, including seven-time winner Novak Djokovic, reigning champion Jannik Sinner, world number one Aryna Sabalenka and Coco Gauff.

They will be on court later, but first up is an excellent meeting between Belinda Bencic and Anna Kalinskaya, while rising Brazil star Joao Fonseca plays Roman Safiullin.
