Slavia Prague are comfortably top of the Czech league, so they clearly have something about them.

Taking a chance

Arsenal are 1/4 to win this game. Both Teams to Score (No) is a shorter price than the ‘yes’ option. So why not back the Gunners to win to nil?

It’s a bet that would have landed in this game 12 months ago, and even though Arsenal have some injuries in their camp, they are arguably stronger now than they were then with the signings of Ezri Konsa, Bruno Guimaraes and co.

Since the start of last season, Arsenal to win to nil is a selection that would have landed in Champions League games against Athletic Bilbao, Atletico Madrid, Olympiacos, Club Brugge, Napoli and Lille, as well as a host of Premier League matches… including Sunday’s tie with Liverpool which featured in-form Reds hitman Alexander Isak.

If you want to play it safer, there are other options – you could back Arsenal just to win or even Both Teams to Score (No), but this looks to be a great price for an outcome that has landed multiple times in the past year… and often against better opponents than the Czechs.

Against the grain

The 2026/27 edition of the Champions League has been a haven for goals so far.

But there will be anomalies, and this game screams of a low-scoring contest. Slavia failed to find the net in five of their eight UCL games last season, as well as drawing a blank against the unheralded Sabah this season.

Arsenal, meanwhile, only conceded four times in eight Champions League pool games last term, and they’ve kept four clean sheets in their last six outings in all competitions.

If Manchester City, Liverpool, Napoli and Aston Villa have all failed to score against the Gunners this term, it’s hard to be particularly bullish about Slavia’s hopes of doing so – hence the Under 3.5 Goals selection here.

Before the Liverpool game, Arteta admitted he had rushed back Christos Tzolis for the big occasion.
