LaLiga EA Sports continues its inexorable approach to the end of the season, and it does so with leaders Barcelona in command with enough of a lead to believe that the title is only a matter of time.
While, at the top, the fight for the European places continues, at the bottom, the teams are trying to make the most of their chances of salvation, a fight that has a good number of teams sleepless.
Here are our predictions for the 32nd round of La Liga, which, curiously, will be the 33rd to be played.
Betis v Real Madrid: Friday, 8pm BST

Rarely does a league matchday start on a Friday with a big game between two teams of this calibre. The moment is not the best for either team, but the quality is unquestionable.
Both teams are frustrated by their recent results and European eliminations, but expect action in the penalty areas.
They are two of the six top-scoring teams in the league, with Betis scoring 26 goals in 15 home games, and Madrid the second-highest scorer on the road (37 in 16).
Los Blancos kicked off this week having not kept a clean sheet in the league since early February away to Valencia. In that same time, Betis have only finished with a clean sheet twice, once on the same day as their opponents and then in a goalless draw at home to Espanyol.
With all that in mind, we expect goals from both teams, as was the case in the last two precedents between them.
Tip: Both teams to score - 8/15 @ bet365
Bet Explanation: This bet is a winner if both teams score at least one goal, regardless of the final score.
Getafe v Barcelona: Saturday, 3.15pm BST

Barcelona visit Getafe, who are still fighting for a place in Europe, or, in other words, the team that is by far the highest-scoring and most attacking in the league visits the second-lowest-scoring and lowest-producing team, although they are also one of the hardest to beat.
We have found at bet365 one of the most appetising combinations we can remember, and that is that Barça have been the team that has scored the most goals and had the most shots on target in almost every matchday, have not gone scoreless all league, and have managed between one and three goals in almost every matchday, including 13 of the 15 away games in league and also in the last three games between the two teams.
Bet Explanation: This bet wins if Barcelona score between one and three goals, shoot more and also have more shots on target than their opponents.
Atletico Madrid v Athletic Club: Saturday, 8pm BST

Atletico Madrid face this difficult game before the exciting tie against Arsenal, and will be looking for their fans after a difficult few days, in which they lost the final of the Copa del Rey.
Getting back to winning ways at home against a Basque side who are having a very difficult year seems more than advisable, plus Simeone's side are among the three best home sides in the league (W13, D1, L2), and Valverde's side are one of the worst visitors in the competition (W3, D3, L9).
For all these reasons, we expect a win for the Madrid side.
Tip: Atletico Madrid to win - 21/20 @ bet365
Bet Explanation: This bet is a winner if Atletico Madrid win.
Oviedo v Elche: Sunday, 3.15pm BST

Oviedo and Elche are set to play one of the most dramatic games at the end of the league. The Asturians are on the ropes, and Elche are in desperate need of points.
Oviedo are the lowest-scoring team in the top flight, but in recent weeks, they have improved their goalscoring numbers, too, while Elche are the worst away team in the league, having not won or kept a clean sheet in any of their away games in the competition.
Tip: Oviedo to score between 1 and 3 goals & there are between 1 and 4 total goals - 10/21 @ bet365.
Bet Explanation: This bet is a winner if Oviedo score between one and three goals and the match ends with between one and four total goals.
Villarreal v Celta: Sunday, 8pm BST

A match with European flavour at La Cerámica. The team from Castellón are looking to secure their third-place position in the league against a Celta side that has been conceding too much and winning too little in recent weeks, something that has cost them in the Europa League.
Castellonense are one of the best home sides in the competition (W12, D1, L2), and we expect them to be able to impose themselves in this fixture, as they have done in the Celtiñas' last four visits to their home ground.
Tip: Villarreal win - 10/11 @ bet365
Bet Explanation: This bet is a winner if Villarreal win.
Espanyol v Levante: Monday, 8pm BST

Espanyol are one of the worst European teams in 2026. So far, they are yet to win this year and now host a Levante side in need of points to reach salvation that, even recently, seemed almost impossible.
The tip for this game is in the alternatives. Espanyol have scored in 10 of their last 11 league games, and have scored between one and two goals in 11 of their 15 home league games this season.
Levante have also conceded one or two goals in four of their last five league games and in 10 of their 15 away games in the competition.
Los Periquitos managed one or two goals also in 10 of the last 12 meetings between the two.
Tip: Espanyol score one or two goals - 8/13 @ bet365.
Bet Explanation: This bet is a winner if Espanyol score, but fall short of three goals.
