Liverpool enjoy home advantage over Arsenal for the first time since August 2025. A late goal from Dominik Szoboszlai earned the Reds all three points that day, meaning Liverpool haven't lost at home to Arsenal since 2012.

Liverpool vs Arsenal betting tips
Liverpool or draw @ 8/13 (bet365)
Isak 2+ shots on target @ 2/1 (bet365)
Odds courtesy of bet365. Correct at the time of publication and subject to change.
Double chance - Liverpool or draw
My first pick at Anfield comes from the double chance market on the bet365 app, taking Liverpool or draw.
Followers have a two-in-three chance of making a profit here, with a home win paying the same as a draw. Anything other than victory for Arsenal will boost your balance.
I touched on the Londoners' poor form at this venue already, but let's dig a little deeper.
The head-to-head stats show that, despite winning the Premier League title last season, Arsenal lost 1-0 at Anfield, before being held to a 0-0 draw at the Emirates. Both meetings in the 2024/25 campaign ended in 2-2 draws.
Interestingly, Liverpool or draw was a smart bet in each of the last 13 league meetings at Anfield. That run includes eight Liverpool wins and five draws.
I thought hard about picking Liverpool to win at odds of 2/1, but with three of the last four meetings ending level, the double chance offers a safety net.
The locals have won their last two Premier League starts. Liverpool or draw also landed in four of the previous five.
After a humiliating League Cup last 16 loss to lowly Fleetwood Town on Tuesday, the visitors are vulnerable. Trust Liverpool to take advantage.
Tip: Liverpool or draw @ 8/13 (bet365)
Bet explanation: If Liverpool beat Arsenal on Sunday or the match at Anfield ends in a draw, you'll beat the bookies and make a profit.
Total cards - Over 3.5
My second suggested bet on Sunday's blockbuster comes from the total cards market.
Open the bet365 app, find the fixture, and select cards betting. You can gamble on Liverpool v Arsenal ending with more or less than three cards. This bet covers both teams combined, and I'm taking over 3.5 cards.
Sticking with the H2H, over 3.5 cards paid out in both meetings last season. The rivals received two bookings each at Anfield, and the same in London.
Going back further, this fixture gave up three or more cards in each of the last eight renewals. Over that run, four games were played on Merseyside, with 23 cards shown in total.
When betting on cards, you're not interested in which team gets the most bookings, which team wins, or who scores. You're interested only in the referee. If he dishes out four or more cards, you win.
It's a value-for-money bet that keeps you interested until the final whistle. If things go according to plan, you could even be counting your profits before the final whistle.
With odds of 4/6, there's enough to play as a single, but the cards market often works best in bet builders or weekend accumulators.
Tip: Over 3.5 cards @ 4/6 (bet365)
Bet explanation: Liverpool v Arsenal must end with more than three cards shown.
2+ shots on target - Isak
As is often the case, I've saved the biggest odds for last.
Follow my prediction on Liverpool's Alexander Isak to have at least two shots on target in this match, and you'll get 2/1 when using the bet365 app or site.
Our partners at Opta Stats tell us that Isak has scored in five of his previous six Premier League appearances. He found the net against Nottingham Forest, Ipswich, Bournemouth, Brentford, and Brighton in the league.
The Liverpool number nine shirt has weighed heavily on the shoulders of some players in recent times, but not Isak. The 27-year-old Swedish striker, bought from Newcastle for a British record of £125m, is the home team's leading striker.
With six goals, he is the second-highest scorer in the Premier League, three goals shy of Man City's Erling Haaland.
Isak has been involved in two league games this month. He took just 21 minutes to score against Brighton last weekend. Alexander played 77 minutes of that match, finishing with one goal and three shots. At Brentford, he scored one goal and had two shots.
When taking Isak to have two or more shots on target against Arsenal, you don't need him to score. He can find the net with both attempts or send both into the goalkeeper's clutches.
The bet is live for the entire time Isak is on the field of play. I don't expect Liverpool v Arsenal to be a match packed with chances and goals, but Isak will be tasked with driving his team into the box and threatening the Gunners' goal.
Tip: Isak 2+ shots on target @ 2/1 (bet365)
Bet explanation: Alexander Isak must have at least two shots on target against Arsenal at Anfield.
