Round 12 of the Scottish Premiership season brings a reduced schedule, with two matches played on Saturday and another decided on Sunday.

Kilmarnock host St Johnstone, and Motherwell welcome St Mirren to Fir Park. Rangers and Aberdeen meet at Hampden in the League Cup semi-finals.

On the opening day of November, Falkirk take on league leaders Celtic, before an Edinburgh derby at the national stadium.

The legal and licensed sports betting apps featured on Flashscore offer pre-match betting, plus free bets and other promotions.

On this page, experienced football betting writer Frank Monkhouse aims to build on his recent success with three Falkirk vs Celtic predictions.

Result - Celtic win

My first prediction from the Falkirk Stadium is a win for the visitors.

Falkirk and Celtic met in Glasgow back in late August, with the Bhoys using home advantage to beat the Bairns 2-1. Celtic found themselves 2-0 ahead and cruising after 29 minutes, but a late own goal from Colby Donovan created an uncomfortable finish.

Martin O'Neill's team have improved since the summer, and I expect a more convincing performance on Sunday.

The champions arrive with a 100% success rate on the road. They've already thrashed Kilmarnock 5-1, won 2-1 in Paisley and 1-0 in Perth. Celtic beat Motherwell 2-0 and fought back from a goal down to edge Hibs 2-1 in their last away match.

John McGlynn's Falkirk finished top six last season and are holding their own in the Premiership so far this term. Despite a decent start, the locals lost 2-0 to St Mirren here, 2-1 to Rangers, and the same scoreline to Dundee earlier this month.

Celtic and Falkirk met five times last season, and head-to-head stats on the Flashscore app show the Glaswegians claimed five wins. The aggregate score ended Celtic 14-2 Falkirk. That explains why bet365 traders have the away win as a firm favourite.

Need more convincing? Falkirk last beat Celtic in March 2007. That's a 20-game run.

The odds available on Celtic mean this bet is best suited to your weekend football accumulators or Falkirk v Celtic Bet Builders.

Tip: Celtic win @ 19/50 (bet365)

Explanation: If Celtic score more goals than Falkirk and take the three points back to Glasgow, your bet wins and you'll secure a profit.

Match goals - 2-4

Moving away from the match-winner market, I highlight the match goals betting.

Here, I'm backing Falkirk v Celtic to produce more than one goal, but fewer than five. Followers aren't interested in which team wins, who scores, or when. A 2-0 home win is every bit as useful as a 2-2 draw or a 4-0 win for Celtic.

Place this bet, sit back, and enjoy the show, cheering every goal. It's a real value-for-money bet that could keep you interested until the final whistle.

Backing 2-4 in the match goals market landed in Celtic's 2-1 summer win over Falkirk. In the four Premiership meetings last term, 2-4 goals won three times. Covering the previous 10 league meetings, 2-4 goals has an 80% success rate.

Let's now check on Falkirk's home form. The opening day match with St Mirren ended with two goals. The Bairns then shared three goals with Rangers, Hearts, Dundee, and Kilmarnock.

We already know that the pace-setters have been faultless away from Celtic Park, but what about the goals? There were six at Rugby Park, three in Paisley, one in Perth, another couple at Motherwell, and three at Easter Road.

Follow the stats and back Falkirk v Celtic to produce between two and four goals from both teams combined.

Tip: 2-4 match goals @ 8/13 (bet365)

Explanation: The winning team isn't important this time. You need Falkirk v Celtic to end with between two and four goals on Sunday.

Anytime scorer - Duran

I'll complete my Falkirk v Celtic prediction with a bet in the players market, backing Camilo Duran to get on the scoresheet at Falkirk Stadium.

The 24-year-old Colombian, signed from Qarabag for a reported £6m, has certainly hit the ground running in Glasgow and is already living up to his hefty price tag.

Camilo scored both goals in Celtic's 2-1 home win over Falkirk earlier in the campaign. He's also been in fine form on the road, scoring at Tannadice, Fir Park, Estadio da Luz in Benfica, and in Leith last Sunday.

Focusing on his last away game, Duran scored what turned out to be the winner just before half-time. He played 73 minutes of the match against Hibs, producing four shots, one chance created, and a 100% success rate from 11 passes.

His performance against the Hibees took Duran to 11 goal involvements in the Premiership, scoring six goals and providing five assists.

Camilo improved his stats when scoring the opener in a 2-2 draw with Dundee United in Glasgow on Wednesday.

The pacey attacker should enjoy plenty of service at the Falkirk Stadium on Sunday. Celtic had 61% of possession at Hibs last weekend, creating 15 shots and 22 touches inside the opponent's box.

Returning to that 2-1 win recorded over Falkirk in August, Duran had three shots and created two chances. His team enjoyed 55.9% possession, 19 shots, and no fewer than 25 touches inside the opposition box.

Duran is comfortable receiving the ball in the box and turning chances into goals. He's also shown he can take defenders on or score from distance.

Tip: Duran to score @ 5/6 (bet365)

Explanation: If Duran scores at any stage of the match, you'll boost your betting balance.
