Manchester United welcome Aston Villa to Old Trafford for a Sunday match you can follow live on TV and streaming apps from 16:30 GMT.
The Red Devils started the week dangerously close to the relegation zone, with only three teams beneath them in the pecking order. They're level on seven points with Crystal Palace in 18th, and have collected only two points more than bottom club Sunderland.
Will Aston Villa heap misery on their big-name opponents? Unai Emery's side arrive unbeaten in five, taking seven of the last nine points available.

Manchester United vs Aston Villa: Betting tips
Aston Villa or draw @ 4/6 (bet365)
Over 2.5 goals @ 8/13 (bet365)
Jackson to score @ 7/4 (bet365)

Double chance - Aston Villa or draw
I'm picking the visitors to take at least a point from the Theatre of Dreams.
You can back Aston Villa to beat Manchester United at odds of 11/5 on the bet365 app. That will be popular, given the home team's recent struggles. The price makes Villa great value, but I'm happy to take the safety net offered by the double chance market.
Followers have a two-in-three chance of profiting, with the draw as good as Villa taking all three points. Anything but a home win will boost your balance.
Looking at the head-to-head stats on the Flashscore app, I noticed Aston Villa or a draw would've been a winning bet in half of the last four meetings. The rivals ended goalless at Villa Park in October 2024, and Emery's team won 2-1 at home last December.
Manchester United are winless in their last seven Premier League starts, with four draws and three losses. They lost 2-0 at Stamford Bridge last Saturday, suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth, and ended 1-1 at Elland Road.
Recent results also show that the visitors have won each of their last two away games in this competition. They battled to a 1-0 win at St James' Park and claimed a stunning 3-2 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Both teams were in Champions League action in midweek, with Man Utd coming from 2-0 down to beat Italian Serie A side Roma 3-2 on Tuesday evening at this stadium. Aston Villa lost 3-0 at the Camp Nou, but I won't hold that against them, given Barcelona's pedigree.
Tip: Aston Villa win or draw @ 4/6 (bet365)
Bet explanation: If Aston Villa can avoid defeat at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, your bet wins, and you'll snag a profit.
Total goals - Over 2.5
Followers of my second Manchester United vs Aston Villa prediction aren't interested in which team wins. Here, we're betting on the number of goals scored in the match.
When you play the total goals market, you're betting on whether the match will produce more than two goals or fewer than three. It covers both teams combined, meaning a 2-1 home win pays the same as a 3-0 away win or a 2-2 draw.
Back over 2.5 goals at Old Trafford and you can celebrate every attack. The bet is live for the entire match, but you could land a profit long before the full-time whistle.
Over 2.5 goals proved a smart play in both meetings last season, including the Old Trafford match, which saw four goals.
Man Utd and Ipswich are the only teams yet to keep a Premier League clean sheet, and that caught my attention. The leaky defence will now be tested to breaking point by an Aston Villa attack that has scored 10 goals so far. That's more than Everton in seventh.
Over 2.5 goals was a winning bet in three of Aston Villa's last five trips to this iconic stadium, including a 3-1 loss here last season, and a 3-2 defeat on Boxing Day 2023.
With Man Utd's weak defence, both teams playing in the Champions League on Tuesday, and Aston Villa scoring 15 goals in seven games last month, I'm happy to bet on over 2.5 goals on Sunday.
You can back this one as a single, but it'll work best in your weekend accumulators or Man Utd vs Aston Villa Bet Builders.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals @ 8/13 (bet365)
Bet explanation: You need Man Utd vs Aston Villa to end with more than two goals scored by both teams combined.
Anytime scorer - Nicolas Jackson
My third pick comes with higher odds attached.
I make the case for Aston Villa's Nicolas Jackson to score at a handy 7/4.
I considered picking Aston Villa's number 11 to score or assist at 6/5 (bet365), but his stats so far convinced me to aim higher.
The 25-year-old from Gambia has made eight Premier League appearances this term and scored five goals. That tally places him third in the division's top scorers, behind Erling Haaland on nine goals and Alexander Isak's six strikes.
Jackson registered his first goal of the season at Club Brugge in the Champions League, and opened his Premier League account at Tottenham.
Nicolas has three goals in his previous two league games, hitting a double against Man City and another versus Fulham.
Tip: Jackson to score @ 7/4 (bet365)
Bet explanation: Followers want to see Nicolas Jackson score at any time during the game at Old Trafford. The bet is live for the entire time he's on the pitch.
Manchester United vs Aston Villa: Betting odds
Manchester United win @ 23/20 (bet365)
Aston Villa win @ 11/5 (bet365)
