10:10 BST - England manager Thomas Tuchel said his 26-man squad was based on "trust".
"It's hard to please (everyone). We have to pick a squad we as a staff are convinced and really love," he told reporters.
"If there are doubts (from the players) you don't play on the same level.
"Who do we really trust? Who delivered for us? Who created a culture especially from September onwards? The connection has to be there.
"It's not fully out of the picture what the public and media thinks. What would I think from the outside? But mostly it's about the energy and the trust and the connection between the players."

10:05 BST - There are several big names who have not been included in Tuchel's World Cup squad.
Cole Palmer, Phil Foden, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Harry Maguire are the biggest omissions, while Morgan Gibbs-White, Adam Wharton, Lewis Hall, Luke Shaw and Jarrod Bowen could also feel anguish having missed out.

09:30 BST - One of the biggest suprises could see the inclusion of Ivan Toney. The 30-year-old striker has been free-scoring for Al-Ahli this season but has rarely featured for England in the build-up to this summer.
And what of Trent Alexander-Arnold? The Real Madrid defender is likely to miss out with Tuchel opting for Djed Spence, who recently broke his jaw following a collision with Liam Delap on Tuesday.
Newcastle's Tino Livramento and Dan Burn will reportedly be called up, along with Man City's John Stones and Bayer Leverkusen's Jarell Quansah.
09:28 BST - So who will make the cut for England?
News trickled through overnight that Chelsea duo Cole Palmer and Levi Colwill will miss out, along with Man City's Phil Foden and Man Utd's Harry Maguire, who said he was "shocked and gutted".
Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White is also apparently going to be left behind, but Aston Villa's Europa League winner Ollie Watkins has reportedly done enough to make the squad.
