19:17 BST - That's it from us this evening, thanks for joining us. We'll keep bringing you all the twists and turns as the Premier League season nears its final month. See you soon!

19:14 BST - Here are the highlights for those who want to relive the drama.

19:08 BST - Martin Odegaard said it's important for Arsenal to bounce back from today's defeat.

"Disappointed not to win. Obviously we wanted to get a result and we were really up for it today. We played a good game, we pressed really well," he told Sky Sports.

"Especially in the second half we looked dangerous, big moments in front of goal. Small margins to decide a game like this and we weren't sharp enough in front of goal and that's why we go home with nothing.

"That's football at this level. It was always going to be like that. Very intense, very tough. Small margins.

"Frustrating but a lot of good things in the game from us. Now it's about looking forward to the next game to bounce back."

18:56 BST - Manchester City captain Bernardo Silva has described today's result as "very big" for Pep Guardiola's side.

"Very big because it puts us in a position if we win our game in hand we're on the same points," he told Sky Sports.

"Two weeks ago this didn't look very likely, this scenario. I'm happy we can be on the same points.

"It's a long season. A lot of small details didn't go our way this season.

"Also unlucky plays, we missed a lot of chances. A lot of games we should have won. Today things went our way. I'm really happy."

18:43 BST - And here's how things stand in the Premier League after that enthralling match.

18:36 BST - Here's how that match swung back and forth. Relentless second-half pressure got the job done for City, but you can see how Arsenal were pushing them at the end.

18:30 BST - Man City have only led the title race for six days so far this season, with Arsenal up top since October, but that result could mean the Premier League will once again be won by the blue side of Manchester.

18:26 BST - FULL-TIME! The referee’s whistle prompts a huge roar from the Etihad. Manchester City are three points behind Arsenal with a game in hand. What a moment this could prove to be in the title race.

City got off to a quick start with a goal from Cherki, but Arsenal were able to respond immediately through Havertz who latched onto a massive Donnarumma error just seconds later.

However, as is so often the case, Haaland was on hand to fire home from close range and give the hosts an enormous victory that blows the title race wide open. Click here to read our full report.

18:23 BST - CLOSE! So very, very, very close. Trossard puts in a perfect cross, and Havertz leaps up to head it, but the ball flies just over the crossbar. Could that be the title?

18:22 BST - Arsenal are throwing every at Manchester City. Could there be another twist?

18:19 BST - We will have seven minutes of added time here.

18:09 BST - Time running out for Arsenal here as we tick past the 80-minute mark.

18:01 BST - CLOSE! Martinelli hits the post with a header!

17:53 BST - GOAL! Haaland puts City ahead! The ball flashes across the face of goal with a few players trying to get onto it, and eventually it's the big Norwegian who gets in front of his man and strokes the ball home.

17:48 BST - CHANCES! First Havertz and Martinelli are denied by Donnarumma and his scrambling defence after an Odegaard break. Seconds later, Eze very nearly curls one into the corner but it cannons into the post. Arsenal are fighting back here.

17:38 BST - Another big opportunity there for City as Rodri lofts a pinpoint pass to Semenyo, but Semenyo's first touch is a little too heavy and Raya closes it down.

17:36 BST - CLOSE! Haaland gets a rebound in front of the near post and fires a shot that cannons off the wrong side of the post for the City man.

17:33 BST - We are back underway at the Etihad. A big 45 minutes coming up here.

17:18 BST - HALF-TIME: There's the whistle from the referee to bring down the curtain on the first half. It's been a good game, if not with quite the same drama as the games that preceded it.

We were treated to two early goals as first Cherki danced his way through the Arsenal defence to give City the lead, before Donnarumma got caught napping by a chasing Havertz to level things up at the Etihad.

17:12 BST - CHANCES! Both teams go close, but some good defence shuts down the respective threats. First Havertz looks like he's about to latch onto a cross to fire in an attempt before Khusanov gets in the way, then Hincapié gets big in front of Semenyo's shot at goal the other end.

16:49 BST - GOAL! From the sublime to the ridiculous. Pep Guardiola had his hands aloft two minutes ago, and is now pictured slumped in his chair after a huge error from Donnarumma.

The keeper had the ball at his feet after a throw-in, and Havertz closed him down then blocked the clearance to watch the ball float into the net. That effort will please Mikel Arteta hugely.

16:47 BST - GOAL! And what a goal it is. Cherki dances through three members of the Arsenal defence from close range and cooly slots the ball into the bottom left corner off the post.

16:31 BST - We are underway at the Etihad!

16:23 BST - It really can't be overstated just how huge today's final Premier League match is. Victory for Arsenal almost certainly means they'll win the title, but if Man City can take all three points at home, momentum may be in Pep Guardiola's men's favour.

16:19 BST - Attention now quickly shifts to the Etihad, where Manchester City are about to host Premier League title rivals Arsenal. Build-up and live coverage here.

16:02 BST - FULL-TIME: What a result that is for Liverpool, who have won a thrilling Merseyside derby 2-1. The relief is all over the players' faces. Read our match report here.

15:52 BST - GOAL! What is happening?! Abraham has scored late to surely give Aston Villa the win against Sunderland.

15:46 BST - GOAL! OH MY WORD! Sunderland are level! Isidor has scored just 58 seconds after Hume - incredible scenes.

15:45 BST - GOAL! Sunderland are now only a goal down thanks to Hume!

15:37 BST - GOAL! Wow. Gibbs-White has completed a 15-minute hat-trick and Forest are currently taking a giant stride towards Premier League safety.

15:31 BST - Still some time left in the game, naturally, but as things stand there are five points separating Forest from a relegation zone led by Tottenham. There will be many Spurs fans glued to West Ham's game against Crystal Palace on Monday night.

15:29 BST - GOAL! Gibbs-White has another and Forest now lead Burnley 2-1! What a turnaround for the home side.

15:24 BST - In and amongst all that chaos, the team news for Arsenal's huge game against Manchester City has dropped. Here are the respective starting XIs:

Team news

15:22 BST - GOAL! Now Forest are level as well! Gibbs-White makes it 1-1 against Burnley with his side's first shot on target.

15:17 BST - That is Beto's eighth Premier League goal this season. He has now scored four goals in his last three league games.

15:13 BST - GOAL! Everton are level! Beto gets on the end of a perfect Dewsbury-Hall pass across the goal to beat the keeper and make it 1-1 in the Merseyside derby.

15:11 BST - Still a long way to go, but as things stand Aston Villa are ten points ahead of Chelsea in the race for Champions League places, while Liverpool are seven clear.

15:07 BST - GOAL! What is it about Aston Villa and scoring quickly? This time Watkins is the man to provide the assist, and it's Rogers who sends home the finish. Aston Villa now lead Sunderland 3-1.

15:07 BST - We'll soon be bringing you the team news for the big game at the top of the Premier League table.

15:04 BST - We are backunderway. Will the second half bring more goals?

14:55 BST - Watkins now has 11 Premier League goals this season, leading the way for Aston Villa.

14:48 BST - HALF-TIME: We have reached the halfway mark across the three games. As things stand, Liverpool lead Everton 1-0 in the Merseyside derby, Aston Villa are 2-1 ahead against Sunderland, and Burnley are 1-0 up at Nottingham Forest.

14:47 BST - GOAL! Flemming has put Burnley 1-0 ahead at Nottingham Forest! This scoreline would be huge for the visitors if they can hold out for another 45 minutes and some change. In case history matters, Nottingham Forest have a record of W1, D2, L7 when conceding the opening goal at home in the Premier League this season.

14:38 BST - GOAL! Watkins has a second and it's another header!

14:33 BST - That is Salah's ninth goal in 15 Premier League games against Everton, which matches the total of another club icon in Steven Gerrard. And as for the earlier stat about Liverpool's record when they go down a goal, here's how it looks so far this term each time they've opened the scoring: W14, D3, L1.

14:30 BST - GOAL! Liverpool have taken the lead! A crazy few minutes at the Hill Dickinson is capped off by Salah, who runs onto a superb pass from Gakpo to deliver a calm finish. A goal in his final Merseyside derby, what a story for the Liverpool legend.

14:29 BST - GOAL DISALLOWED! Forget all that, VAR have ruled the goal out for offside in the build-up.

14:27 BST - GOAL! Ndiaye gives Everton the lead in the Merseyside derby! Given Liverpool's away record, how important will that prove to be? Arne Slot's side have a record of W0, D1, L7 when conceding the opening goal away from home in the Premier League this season.

14:19 BST - The Merseyside derby has not delivered yet in terms of goals, but that doesn't mean to say it's been a boring game. Both teams throwing plenty at it already.

14:09 BST - GOAL! Sunderland are level already! Teenager Rigg with a brilliant strike to make it 1-1 at Villa Park.

14:03 BST - GOAL! Well that didn't take too long. Watkins is the man to give Aston Villa the early lead against Sunderland after leaping unmarked to head home from McGinn's cross.

14:01 BST - And we are underway across the three stadiums!

13:51 BST - We are just minutes away from kick-off in the early games.
