Premier League champions Arsenal return to the Emirates Stadium for game eight of their defence.
Mikel Arteta’s men line up against David Moyes and his Everton side with over 60,000 fans in attendance. The locals have won each of their previous two league games, while the visitors have banked just one of the last six points available.
Legal and licensed UK betting apps have the home win as their firm favourite, offering attractive odds on the visitors taking all three points back to Vauxhall. They also offer a welcome bonus to all new customers, which you can claim now.

Arsenal vs Everton: Betting tips
Most goals in second half @ 11/10 (bet365)
Arsenal win to nil @ 6/5 (bet365)

Result - Arsenal win
I open with the most popular football betting market: the match-winner. It’s a bet that’s easy to place and simple to follow. Choose between a home win, draw, or away win, set a stake, and confirm the bet. If the result goes your way, you’ll boost your betting balance.
The beauty of the match-winner betting market is that you don’t have to worry about which players score and when, the winning margin, or who nets first. It’s all about the final result, and I’m picking Arsenal to make home advantage count, moving to seven wins from eight.
Why am I confident Arsenal will win? There are a few good reasons to back the Londoners and defending champions.
Opta Stats show Arsenal are unbeaten in their last seven league meetings with Saturday’s opponents, with five wins and two draws. That run includes a 2-0 victory at this venue last season, following a 1-0 at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Arsenal fans may remember they enjoyed a 13-game unbeaten run against Everton, a six-year stretch that began in 2007. But it gets better.
The Gunners have suffered just one home defeat to the Toffees in 30 Premier League matches, winning 24 and drawing five. The spare result in that period was a 1-0 back in April 2021, thanks to an own goal from Bernd Leno in the 76th minute.
I’m a huge fan of Everton’s Scottish boss Moyes, but it’s worth noting that Everton has never left the Emirates with all three points under his guidance. Three points from the 39 available does little to inspire confidence in an upset.
Lastly, Arsenal have won 11 and lost one of their last 12 league games, and boast a 100 per cent home record in that time.
Tip: Arsenal win @ 21/50 (bet365)
Bet explanation: If Arsenal beat Everton, you beat the bookies. The odds offered make this bet a decent addition to your weekend accumulators and bet builders.
Half with most goals - Second
Moving to the next of my three Arsenal vs Everton predictions, and I’m taking the second half to produce more goals than the opening 45.
Visit the bet365 app, select Football > Premier League > Arsenal vs Everton > Half With Most Goals. You can back the first half at odds of 2/1, the second half at 11/10, or a tie at 13/5.
Heading into round eight, Arsenal have the joint-best defence, level on five goals conceded with Brighton. It’s also important to know that Everton, despite an unconvincing start to the season, have conceded fewer first-half goals than any other team in the top flight.
There’s more.
Arsenal’s last six EPL goals have been scored in the second period. Madueke banked the only goal of the game in the 80th minute at The City Ground last Sunday. In their most recent home game, a 2-1 win over Leeds United, the sides were goalless at the interval.
In the last match between the Gunners and Toffees at this stadium, Arsenal won 2-0, with goals in the 89th and 90th minutes.
Tip: Most goals in the second half @ 11/10 (bet365)
Bet explanation: To win this bet, you need more goals in the second half than the first. It covers both teams combined.
Win to nil - Arsenal
The third and final bet is on Arsenal to win to nil.
We’ve already taken the Gunners to bank all three points in front of their fans, but the stats make it worth pushing our luck a little further.
When playing the ‘win to nil’ market, the clue’s in the name, but you need both parts of the bet to land. A 3-1 home win makes your bet a loser as, although Arsenal collected the points, Everton managed to score.
You need the home team to win by any margin, but they must also keep a clean sheet.
Arsenal beat Everton to nil twice last season in two games. The Toffees have scored one goal in their last four meetings with the Gunners. Digging deeper, I noticed that Everton have also scored one goal in four visits to the Emirates. In that four-game period, we find 2-0 and 4-0 home wins.
Already this season, Everton failed to score against London clubs Chelsea and Tottenham. If interested in this bet, I’d advise playing as a single or as part of your Arsenal vs Everton Bet Builders.
Tip: Arsenal win to nil @ 6/5 (bet365)
Bet explanation: To win this bet, you need Arsenal to beat Everton and for the Toffees to draw a blank in London.
