Neither side has managed to find their feet yet this season, and something has to give at the City Ground as Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur both search for a first win of the campaign

Oliver Glasner and Roberto De Zerbi have each endured a difficult start in the dugout, and both managers will be desperate to use this meeting to get their respective sides up and running.

Forest's own struggles have followed them home, with just one win from their last 12 Premier League matches at the City Ground and a 1-0 loss to Leeds on the opening weekend.

Spurs' problems, meanwhile, have been laid bare in defeats to Brentford and Newcastle, leaving them as one of only three sides yet to score a Premier League goal this season.

Omar Marmoush to have 2+ shots

Marmoush has quickly shown he's a volume shooter for his new club, unafraid to drop deep, shoot from distance, or take up positions on set pieces to get his effort away.

He fired three shots in his very first appearance, and with a fuller week of training now under his belt and a first goal for the club still eluding him, there's every reason to expect him to keep pulling the trigger regularly here.

Against a Forest side who've struggled at home this season and lean on a direct, long-ball approach that can leave gaps in behind, Marmoush should get opportunities to test their backline from range as well as in and around the box. At 1/4 with Bet365, backing him for two or more shots looks a solid way to back his early involvement.

Tip: Omar Marmoush to have 2+ shots @ 1/4

Bet explanation: This bet wins if Omar Marmoush attempts two or more shots during the match.

Over 7 corners

Forest's direct approach tends to generate plenty of second balls and knockdowns in wide areas, a style that regularly translates into corner-friendly territory.

Igor Jesus's willingness to compete physically and win aerial duels, where he ranks top in the league, only adds to that likelihood, as does the imposing physical presence Forest bring to set-piece situations at both ends.

Tottenham, for their part, have struggled to break sides down in open play so far this season and may increasingly look to crosses and set pieces as an alternative route to goal given their lack of a league goal so far.

Tip: Over 7 corners @ 1/5

Bet explanation: This bet wins if the combined number of corners taken by both teams is eight or more.

Morgan Gibbs-White to have 1+ shots on target

Gibbs-White has been one of the standout performers in the entire division over the past year, with only Bruno Fernandes involved in more Premier League goals during 2026 than his tally of 13 goals and four assists.

He's kept up that habit into the new campaign too, firing four shots across his first two games and finding the target against Liverpool to boost his confidence further.

With Gibbs-White having either scored or assisted in six of his last seven league appearances, and Tottenham's defence still finding its feet under a new manager having conceded five goals in their opening two matches, there's a strong platform here for the Forest talisman to test the goalkeeper again. At 1/2 with Bet365, backing him for at least one shot on target looks a well-supported pick.

Tip: Morgan Gibbs-White to have 1+ shots on target @ 1/2

Bet explanation: This bet wins if Morgan Gibbs-White registers at least one shot on target during the match.
